My new film about Brian Cleeve

A big thank you to everyone who has been in touch about my new book, Television Doesn’t Like Rebels. Friday’s event is not just another book launch. I hope that it will also be a celebration of the life of Brian Cleeve.

I am delighted that Gerry O’Neill of ‘The West’s Awake’ has agreed to speak at the launch. He is too young to remember Brian’s many TV appearances during the 1960s. So in his comments and questions he will bring a fresh eye to bear on this extraordinary man. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.

For those who will not be in Shankill on Friday I hope this short film will explain what all the fuss is about. It’s an unashamed plug for Television Doesn’t Like Rebels. But it is also an introduction to Brian Cleeve for those who know little or nothing about him.
