INTO THE MEMORY HOLE: Despatches from the “world of lies”

Book launch - you're invited!

I will be launching Into the Memory Hole: Despatches from the “world of lies” on Wednesday September 20th 2023 at an event to be held in Dublin, Ireland. It will begin at 4:00pm and end around 6:30pm. If it is at all possible for you to come I would love to see you there.

The venue is close to Dublin Airport and the M1 and M50 motorways. There is plenty of parking nearby. The location is easily accessible, not only to anyone travelling from Dublin or other parts of Ireland, but to intrepid travellers from abroad. If you live outside Ireland perhaps you would consider combining the book launch with a longer visit to our beautiful country? Well worth it!

Regarding the book launch, there will be finger food, a bit of banter, and a few speeches. I’ll probably say a few words myself, but the main speaker will be Thomas Sheridan. Like me, Thomas Sheridan is a Dub. Unlike me he is a Northsider, from Ballymun to be precise. Many moons ago I spent several years working in that neck of the woods so, although I am from the Southside, I am well used to crossing the Liffey!

In an active life (so far), Thomas Sheridan has written several books and made numerous films. He is a pagan and an anarchist, but these labels are not meant to be intimidating. When he talks about political, religious and cultural life in Ireland and elsewhere, Thomas Sheridan flavours his reflections with a hefty dose of common sense and practical wisdom. I’m looking forward to hearing him.

For those who don’t already have my book, a small number of copies will be on sale on the day. Because I am not taking any royalties, I can keep the price at a ridiculously low €10.50 (cash only please).

If you’d like to come along please let me know as soon as you can. This event is free and space is limited. So I probably won’t be able to accommodate everyone - it will be first-come-first-served I’m afraid.
