Livestream (I hope...)

Only a few more days to go! This is just a reminder to those who will be coming to my book launch next Wednesday. But if you can’t make it, please keep reading.

My new book Into the Memory Hole: Despatches from the “world of lies” will be launched on Wednesday next, September 20th, in Dublin, Ireland. The event will start at 4:00pm at a venue close to Dublin Airport and the M1/M50 motorways. We will have finger food, a bit of banter, and a few speeches. While I’ll probably say a few words myself (about our own “world of lies”), the main speaker will be the writer and film-maker, Thomas Sheridan. It’s all free, but space is limited.

There will be a few copies of my book on sale for a little more than a tenner (cash only please). But only a few. If they are all gone you can order Into the Memory Hole online, or download it as a pdf. To make this as easy as possible for the technically-minded there will be QR codes on display.

If you have already told me you’ll be there, you’re very welcome on the day. However you may be one of those who can’t get to Dublin for the launch. But, if you can access the Internet, I am hoping to livestream the event on my YouTube channel. (I am not a technophile, so ‘hoping’ rather than ‘expecting’!)

I am old-school so personally I’d prefer to be there in the flesh. But I know that’s not possible for everyone, so I hope this alternative works if you can’t come along.
